How to Apply for the Elevate Skills Internship Program

By Elevate Skills · Updated · 6 min read

Looking for the link to apply for the Elevate Skills internship program (also searched as the Elevate internship programme)? This page shows exactly where to apply, what happens after you register, and what the program costs.

Make sure you are on the right website

The name "Elevate" is used by several unrelated organisations and programs; for example, Elevate Skills is not connected to Elevate Labs. This guide is only about ELEVATE Skill Development, run by NPUI Media Network LLP, whose website address is elevateskills.in. If you are applying anywhere else, check the address in your browser first. You can also verify Elevate Skills yourself before you apply.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Open the registration page.
  2. Enter your name, email address and mobile number, and choose your gender and course.
  3. Select the internship domain you want to apply for, and enter your college name.
  4. Submit the form. You will get an email with a link to activate your account. Check your spam folder if you do not see it.
  5. Activate your account, then log in to the student portal.
  6. Find your offer letter and your tasks in the portal and start working.

What you need before you apply

  • An email address you check every day. Your activation link and updates are sent there.
  • A working mobile number.
  • Your name exactly as it appears on your college ID, because it is printed on your offer letter and certificate.
  • Your college name and course.
  • A laptop or desktop with internet access. You can read tasks on a phone, but building and submitting projects is much easier on a computer.

What does it cost?

Applying, learning and completing the internship is free. If you want the official certificate after finishing, there is an optional fee of ₹100. Read the refund policy for the details.

How long is the program?

The internship runs for a maximum of five weeks. You complete the tasks at your own pace within that time, so it fits around classes and exams.

Who can apply?

Students who are currently pursuing, or have completed, a UG or PG degree can apply. No prior experience is needed, because the tasks are designed to be done step by step.

Which domains can I choose?

Available domains are shown on the registration form and on the home page. Domains can change over time, so choose from the current list when you register. For an example of what a domain involves, read about the software development internship.

How tasks and reviews work

Tasks unlock in order: the next task opens once you have completed the previous one. Open a task in your dashboard, read the brief, build your solution and submit it for review.

  • Submit a link to your work, such as a GitHub repository. Make sure the link is public so the reviewer can open it.
  • You can also add a short video demo: upload a file of up to 50 MB, or paste an unlisted YouTube or Google Drive link for larger videos.
  • Each submission shows as Pending until it is reviewed, and then as Approved or Rejected.
  • If a task is rejected, open it to read the reviewer's feedback, improve your work and click Resubmit Work.

Your offer letter, certificate and LOR

  • Your offer letter can be downloaded from your student dashboard.
  • The certificate unlocks once all of your tasks are approved. It is optional and costs ₹100.
  • A Letter of Recommendation (LOR) is also available as an optional, paid document once all tasks are approved.
  • Every certificate has a unique ID and QR code that anyone can check on the verification page.
  • Add the internship to your resume. See how to add an internship to your resume and LinkedIn.

Join the intern community

From the Community tab in your dashboard, you can connect your Telegram account through the official Elevate Skills bot and join the intern channel for updates and support.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Typing your email address wrongly, so the activation link never arrives.
  • Not activating your account, and then being unable to log in.
  • Submitting a private GitHub repository or a link that needs permission to open.
  • Waiting until the last week to start. Tasks unlock one after another, so begin early.
  • Paying anyone outside the official channels. See how to verify Elevate Skills.
